Wembley Stadium

Wembley stadium is a stadium official English national team until now, a stadium with a capacity of approximately 90,000 spectators and is the second largest stadium in Europe.
The stadium was designed by Foster and Partners and Populous (then HOK Sport), including the most famous steel arch in the roof structure. With a range of 317 meters (1,040 feet), Wembley Stadium is a steel arch steel arch roof structure with the world's longest single stretch. The stadium was built by Australian firm Multiplex at a cost of 798 million pounds. The Old Wembley Stadium was closed in October 2000, with demolition originally intended to begin in December of that year as well and will begin construction of a new stadium in 2003. However, due to delays, demolition first started in September 2002 and the demolition of the Old Wembley was not resolved until February 2003. The stadium suffered a further delay due to a legal dispute between WNSL and Multiplex, which ultimately lead to a significant loss on the project. The stadium was finally completed and submitted on March 9, 2007 to host the FA Cup Final of 2007, more than a year of the plan, which hosted the FA Cup Final 2006.

The stadium also held the final of the Champions League in 2010, at that time the British team representative Manc. United challenged barcelona Catalan giants. Unfortunately the English team failed to present the trophy to the people of the English after being humiliated Lionel Messi and his friends is final with the score 3-1.
In 2013 plans Champions League final will also be held at this magnificent stadium ..
